Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply to ScanPDF (the “Service”) at https://hillcresticollege.co.za, provided by Tshifhiwa (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a plan or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service does

ScanPDF lets you turn images into PDFs, scan with your camera, merge and compress PDFs, extract text from images and PDFs, and export PDF pages as images. The tools run in your web browser on your own device.

2. Accounts

You need an account to buy or use a paid plan. Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account is for one person.

3. Plans and payment

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to process material you have no right to handle, to attack or overload the Service, to copy or resell it, or to share one paid account between several people. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Your files

The tools process your files in your browser and your files are not uploaded to our servers. You keep all rights in your files. You are responsible for the content you process and for keeping your own backups.

6. Accuracy and availability

Text extraction (OCR) can make mistakes, so check important results. Compression can reduce image quality, and the strongest settings turn text into images that cannot be searched. We try to keep the Service available but do not promise it will always work without interruption or errors.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or documents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under South African consumer law that cannot be limited.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will show the new date above. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Questions: maumela.tshifhiwa.2@gmail.com.
